I’m making the final chapter of Arthur Pink’s Exposition of the Gospel of John available for free download or listening. I’ve been working on this project in my spare time since August 2022, and it’s time to celebrate the end of the recording process. (There is about 65-70 hours of editing work left to do on chapters 62-71, and the entire book should submitted for publication sometime in July, God willing.)

The chapter contains some helpful hints on how to study the Bible, as well as how Pink studied John’s gospel prior to writing on it. I thought it could benefit others, so I jumped ahead in the editing process of this last chapter, completing it out of order (which I’m guessing would have at least mildly offended the exceptionally orderly A.W. Pink–ha!)

I found the commentary so very good. Pink brings out things you won’t see elsewhere. The reading was very technical. Pink compacted much meaning into every sentence, and it was a challenge to string together his deep thoughts without messing up a word or phrase. Multiple readings and edits were required at times! But, in the end, I hope it will be a blessing to the Kingdom.
